Business Ethics at Aksoy

We have a Code of Conduct and a Legislative Compliance Policy by which Aksoy Holding and our controlled entities should abide. In accordance with the policy, our subsidiaries, shareholders, all our employees, including the Board of Directors, and business partners are expected to act under the company’s ethical rules and principles. With these principles, we aim to outline the basic rules that must be followed and to prevent any disputes and conflicts of interest that may arise between our employees, business partners and our organisation. Our Policy, which our Board of Directors created following our core values, constitutes Aksoy’s fundamental principles of conduct. All our employees abide by these principles and rules. Aksoy and Aksoy Group aim to be reliable, responsible, accountable, and transparent against their partners, shareholders, employees, suppliers, business partners, competitors, environment, society, and humanity; and while reaching their objectives, they act following the law, international provisions of law and business ethics. We have an Ethics Line available for all our employees who wish to report or seek advice upon witnessing any behaviour or practice contrary to ethical principles and code of conduct.

Our Code of Conduct

Honesty: Accuracy and honesty are Aksoy’s priority values in all business processes and relations. Aksoy acts accurately and honestly in its relations between its employees and all stakeholders.

Transparency: Aksoy and its controlled entities are transparent and open in their relationships with all employees, including the Board of Directors, business partners, auditors, advisors, third parties outside the company and each other. Aksoy provides comprehensible and accurate information timely and entirely in all its activities. Impartiality and Equal Opportunity: No discrimination can be made within Turcas between employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders and other stakeholders for reasons such as religion, language, race, gender, health conditions, age, marital status, political views, etc. All employees of Aksoy treat everyone fairly and equally and avoid biased behaviour. Aksoy acts very carefully and impartially when selecting its suppliers. Everyone’s contribution to Aksoy has value. Individuals with different backgrounds, talents, and ideas who work together and exchange ideas bring further achievements to Aksoy. Aksoy does not accept any discrimination, harassment, or bullying. Any action of a discriminating and deterrent nature is included in this.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Aksoy carries on all its activities per the national and international laws and regulations; stays at an impartial and equal distance to all institutions and organisations without expecting any benefit; closely follows the laws and regulations; and takes the necessary measures to ensure compliance.

Fair Competition: Aksoy does not violate the principles of fair competition and acts per the competition legislation
