TURİZM & GAYRİMENKUL
Aksoy Holding has been involved in the tourism sector since the late 1980s when its founder Erdal Aksoy, together with his brother Erol Aksoy, decided to invest in the growing tourism and hotel business in Istanbul.
The brothers established a project company in 1988, Yeditepe International Hotels, partnered with Hilton Hotels Corp. of USA, International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Turkish Republic Pension Fund and the Social Securities Corporation, and built, then the largest hotel in Turkey, the 5-star, 670-key, upper-tier Conrad Istanbul overlooking the Bosphorus. Conrad is still the largest hotel in Istanbul by bed capacity.
In addition to the ownership of the Conrad Istanbul Hotel, Aksoy Holding has a portfolio of real estate investments in Istanbul. The company plans to develop residential and commercial projects on these sites in the coming years.
Aksoy Holding plans to consolidate its portfolio under a Real Estate Investment Company in the near future.
